This is not your typical Sicilian jammy red wine - quite the opposite. This wine is full of elegance and restraint. Looking at the wines color, one would not necessarily think that the wine would be as rich, full, and powerful -- but it is without being flabby or over extracted. The wine strikes the perfect balance between fruit and texture. This is the type of wine that makes people learn to love the wine.
